Please read below for all policies including payment policies and refunds.

Booking Fee

All bookings require a $60 per person booking fee to secure the appointment, you have 12hrs from the time of inquiry to pay your booking fee. If a booking fee is not received in that time, the appointment will be available for the next person to book.

You will need to re-inquire if you have not paid your booking fee in the 12hr timeframe.

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Booking fees are only refundable in the extremely unlikely event that TJM BEAUTY BAR has to cancel (for example, illness etc).

Quotes & Pricing Policy

Quotes are based on current market conditions and operational costs. To secure the quoted price, a deposit must be paid upon receipt of the invoice. If a deposit is not received, the quote is subject to change if prices increase. Once a deposit is secured, your quoted price remains unchanged, even if there is a subsequent price increase. We are committed to transparency and fairness, ensuring that your investment is protected throughout the process.

If an error by TJM Beauty Bar is made during the quotation process, you will be notified as soon as possible and the new quote will be provided. The previous quote will be null & void.

Cancellations

Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments for completed services are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your booking and have pre paid the full amount, the deposit is not refunded but the remainder of the payment is (providing you cancel with 3 days notice prior to your appointment time).

No shows will not be tolerated and will be invoiced the full fee of the booking.

BRIDAL TRIALS:
Bridal trials are by appointment only. Trials are primarily conducted Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays only.

FAQ:
Q: "I want to book in my wedding, but I would like a trial first before putting down the deposit"
A: Without a deposit your wedding date is not secured, we suggest securing your actual wedding date with the deposit FIRST and then finding a day/time for your trial. Otherwise, if you wait for your trial there is no guarantee your wedding date will still be available.

Q: "I have booked for 5 people but 2 have cancelled, can they be taken off the booking?"
A: The number of services confirmed at the time of booking is final (and these must be paid for in full). They can be replaced with someone else, however they will need to be paid for to cover admin costs, loss of income etc.

Q: "Should I bring someone to my trial?"
A: From experience, we have found brides are most satisfied with their chosen look when they attend trials on their own. Sometimes others input can be helpful, but this can skew your vision.

Q: How do I prep my hair for styling?
A: Double shampoo your hair the night before your appointment, only apply a small amount of lightweight conditioner to your ends. Please blow dry if possible. Do not add any serums or oils after washing as this can affect styling.

Q: "Should I start a good skincare routine?"
A: Absolutely, you should always consult a skin professional however if starting any new products it's recommended to do so 6 months prior to your wedding to avoid any unwanted breakouts close to the day.

Q: "When should I have my eyebrows waxed/threaded?"
A: Ideally at least 4 days before your makeup appointment. Makeup does not stick to freshly waxed skin, so please avoid getting them done just the day before. This could result in patchy eyeshadow applications.

Q: "What time should we start getting ready?"
A: It is recommended to be ready one hour before your photographer arrives. This is generally 1-2 hours before your ceremony time. Once finish time is established, I will make a schedule for the morning with a start time.

Q: "What should I wear to my trial?"
A: It can be helpful to wear a top/dress that is the same colour as your wedding dress to your trial. This helps you to envision the final look.
